Decided to ignore the included installation disc and download the drivers off Nvidia's site and it works like a charm now. Pros: Worked right out of the box with no problems with the exception being the drivers weren't installing so 800圆00 was max resolution until you install them. I fully recommend this card to anyone who needs a decent PCI gaming card. I couldn't even touch the core clock without problems though. Overall Review: I managed to overclock the memory clock from 410 to 475. Still its definitely a nice option for some things. Personally I simply couldn't afford a new computer so though it may set me back a month on saving up for a new computer at least I'll have some decent games to play while I'm saving up.Īlthough it supports Pixel Shader 3.0 its not powerful enough to take full advantage of it. Pixel Shader 3.0 support.Ĭons: Its a PCI card so for the price you'd get a much much better PCI-e card. Price/Quality ratio compared to other PCI cards is good. I haven't played any other games with it though. Slight slowdown when there are 10 or so characters in a small space (enough room for 20 people physically). Which is the highest my monitor goes anyway. Plays Team Fortress 2 on mid-high graphics (only texture is on medium rest is on high). Had it up and running within a half hour of getting it. Not very loud (hard to tell in my house but I'm rather sure).
